This document contains text of the Electricity Act, 2003 [No. 36 OF 2003].

The Centre has formulated a National Litigation Policy to reduce the cases pending in various courts in India under the National Legal Mission to reduce average pendency time from 15 years to 3 years. This was announced by Dr.M.Veerappa Moily, Minister of Law and Justice while announcing the National Litigation Policy.

The National Green Tribunal Act 2010 approved by the President of India on June 2, 2010. It provides for establishment of National Green Tribunal- a special fast-track court for speedy disposal of environment-related civil cases.

This Act may be called the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. It extends to the whole of India except (the state of Jammu and Kashmir). It shall come into force on the first day of March 1894.
