All non-conventional sources will be tapped for increase in power production: CM


Along with use of conventional resources, other sources like solar, wind, biomass, under-ground energy will also be tapped for increasing power production in the state. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said this while performing the bhumi pujan of the First solar Energy Park at Ganeshpura Village in Rajgarh district today.

Power project from solid waste on the cards

If the talks between the Abu Dhabi-based NRI group and government succeeds, Kochi will get its first electricity project which generates power from solid waste. Loro Group, an endeavour by NRIs in Abu Dhabi, is planning to start the plant in association with Irish company ‘The Wilson System’.

After Luna, Kinetic plans power project for villages
