Keeping track of our changing environment in Asia and the Pacific

This publication, which is based on statistical evidence, illustrates major environmental, economic and social changes in Asia and the Pacific since 1992. The numbers tell the story of how, in twenty years, the region has changed, and the development path the region takes will not only shape the region, but also the world. The report has been produced within the framework of UNEP’s fifth Global Environment Outlook assessment report, which was published in May 2012 in advance of Rio+20.
