WFP Global Hotspots: Potential flashpoints in 2020

Eighteen countries are at risk of plunging further into crises that pose serious threats to people’s food security and livelihoods, according to an updated report by the UN World Food Programme (WFP). Global Hotspots 2020 identifies countries needing rapid assistance and increased funding due chiefly to the destructive effects of conflict, political instability and climate-induced disasters.
