Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 21/07/2020 regarding compliance of order dated January 13, 2020 for the installation of smog towers. The smog towers, were supposed to be installed within three months and for which an agreement was to be entered into. Places were also chosen and stated on affidavit by the Central Government and the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. Even after three months, neither the agreement has been entered into nor the requisite drawings obtained.

The SC directed the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) and the Delhi government to collect the drawings, in case the drawings have not been collected so far and to enter into an agreement positively within seven days and place compliance before the court on the next date of hearing.
