28% will lose out in Food Bill
Bhopal : BJP state unit fears if the National Food Security Bill is passed in its present form, it will deprive at least 28% real beneficiaries in the state.
The Central government tabled the Bill aimed at ensuring cheap foodgrains to the poor on December 22 during the just concluded winter session of Parliament. The Bill, if passed, will legally entitle 63.5% of the population for cheap foodgrains.
