Bhopal : NABARD chief general manager S Akbar on Wednesday said 8% agriculture growth in the last fiscal in Madhya Pradesh is an encouraging development given that 70% people are dependent on agriculture in the state. “This financial year, the state government wants to rev up agriculture growth to 10%,” Akbar said at a seminar on agriculture finance organised by the Bank of India in the city. The city should maintain the growth pace to scale new heights in agriculture production, he said.
