Ban sale of junk food in schools
New Delhi: Students of a private school approached the Delhi high court on Wednesday seeking a ban on the sale of junk food and aerated drinks inside and nearby educational institutions. A division bench comprising acting chief justice A K Sikri and justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw took note of the representation by students of Father Agnel School and asked the central government to file its response on the students’ plea and listed the matter for next hearing on January 4.
