Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday asked the district collectors to ensure utmost transparency in the assessment of the damage of properties by the recent floods.

The chief minister asked them to complete the assessment report by September 25.

Meanwhile, in response to the request by the Odisha government, the Prime Minister’s Office on Thursday informed that it sent an inter-ministerial team to visit the state within a week’s to undertake assessment of the flood damage.
