GUWAHATI, Sept 28 – Peculiar geo-morphological condition of the Himalayan foothill areas have made the Dhemaji district rivers deposit sand, and, in some cases some amounts of silt, on their beds. Thus, they have developed the tendency to change their course said the Dhemaji district engineers of the Water Resources Department (WRD).
