LUCKNOW: The flood situation remained grim in the state on Sunday though rainfall remained subdued. The release of large quantity of water from dams in Uttarakhand and Nepal further increased the water level in the overflowing rivers. The weatherman said rainfall will remain low on Monday but is expected to increase from Tuesday.
