Jorhat, Oct. 31: The Jorhat District Tobacco Control Cell, in association with traders’ organisations, has decided to install hoardings carrying messages of harmful effects of tobacco in shops in the district to boost the anti-tobacco campaign.

The traders have also agreed to distribute stickers to be put on passenger-carrying transport vehicles and put up warning messages at small paan shops, stating that selling of tobacco to persons below 18 years was illegal.
