Expected to be a permanent solution to the problem

The district administration has decided to toughen measures to prevent illegal sand-mining by constituting vigilance committees at all local bodies.
A meeting chaired by District Collector P.B Salim at the Collectorate conference hall here on Monday took the decision to form the committees.
